Silent War Fighter
Veterans of the "Silent War" supporting the veteran community with knowledge and integrity
The evolution of warfare has changed the frontline, but we have been "Always Out Front"
It is an acceptance that those in combats arms are the face of both heroism and the fallout of warfare. From Patton to Audie Murphy our society and culture revolves around our deployed and combative service members who become immortalized in movies and monuments. Following WW2 and into the Cold war the Intelligence community became the front line against the need for major military operations. However, as time progressed, the lines of combat became blurred. Following the events of September 11, 2001, combat arms became an extension of the intelligence arsenal. Where previous wars and operations were fought with numbers and munitions. Our current operations are fought with technology, information and analysis. The War on Terrorism may have been established in the 2000s but it has been an engagement of knowledge for decades. We now have veterans that have been in the trust of secrecy for over 20+ years and now suffer much like our fellow service members have from combat. In a digital age 2 bytes (0.000000002 Gb) of information can be as precise a killer as trained sniper. 2 bytes of information can shoot into the air and take or save lives in a very large scale. With this knowledge the silent warfighters of the military should have an equal chance to support without needing to break the trust of our former positions and the oaths to our country. We at SilentWarfighters.org aim to assist these veterans and all others in continuing their lives with purpose and guidance for self advocacy and self help.
